Inspired by Steven King, David attempted his first novel at age 12. Later in life, with a film degree in hand, the creators of famed "The Blair Witch Project" wanted to do a slapstick gag comedy as an unexpected follow up to their mockumentary horror. David had gone to film school with them. Writing "Heart of Love" was his first professional screenplay gig. David went on to write and perform in a sketch comedy team (The Brute Squad) directed by Heather Anne Campbell (former SNL writer). The group would perform monthly for three years at the cherished I.O. West theater in Hollywood.
For literature, David indulges in speculative science fiction. He's always interested in what current technologies and scientific theories will lead to. He is a self-proclaimed futurist. What is humanities potential, if groundbreaking science is married with technology, free of limitations? He firmly believes that these rabbit holes are intoxicating not only for himself, but any reader who likes to think about what changes come.
Always seeking a creative "high," his other interests include juggling, musical composition, and playing piano and drums.
